Ingredients

  • 15 ounces Ligo Sardines in Tomato Sauce Chili Added
  • 2 habaneros minced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • pepper to taste
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Add olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Once the olive oil is heated, add the garlic and onion to the pan and cook for 2-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the habanero to the pan and brown for another 2 minutes.
  • Add the sardines, lemon juice, soy sauce, and water. Stir to combine.
  • Add the vinegar and pepper to taste. Cover the pan and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Notes
