4-Ingredient Filipino Style Fruit Salad to Dazzle Your Guests

Why else would you make a Filipino style fruit salad except to wow your guests at the next party? This creamy fruit salad is perfect for large gatherings as it makes a large batch and is insanely easy to make in just 10 minutes!
Total Time:10 minutes
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: Filipino
Keyword: filipino style fruit salad
Servings: 10

Ingredients

  • 60 ounces Del Monte Fiesta Fruit Cocktail strained
  • 12 ounces sweetened macapuno strings coconut strings
  • 15.2 ounces Nestle Table Cream
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together the strained Del Monte Fiesta Fruit Cocktail, sweetened macapuno strings, Nestle Table Cream, and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours at a minimum for the fruit salad to thicken. For best results, make the day before for the flavors to settle and mix perfectly. Store in the refrigerator and serve cold. Enjoy!

Notes

  1. For the Nestle Table Cream, this is equivalent to two 7.6-ounce cans. I have seen the ounces sometimes change on their cans. If you cannot find two 7.6-ounce cans, please use something similar to these measurements (i.e, two 7.78-ounce cans).
  2. For the sweetened macapuno strings (coconut strings), this can be found in the Asian market. If you don't have access to this market, any sweetened coconut strings will work. See our Key Ingredients – Filipino Style Fruit Salad section for further discussion.
  3. The Del Monte Fiesta Fruit Cocktail mix has pineapple, red and yellow papaya, nata de coco and cherries in heavy syrup.
  4. I made this recipe the night before and had my fruit salad mixture set overnight in the pictures used.
